The assault caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
